Willie Mae’s Eatery is named in honor of my late grandmother, Willie Mae, who was an extraordinary entrepreneur and my greatest inspiration. She profoundly influenced my life, teaching me the art of cooking when I was just eleven years old. Her entrepreneurial spirit and culinary expertise sparked my passion for cooking, which has become the heart and soul of Willie Mae’s Eatery. Her legacy lives on in every dish we serve, reflecting the values and traditions she instilled in me.

With 35 years of experience in the culinary industry, our journey has been driven by a passion for food, family, and community. For fifteen of those years, I had the privilege of working in some of the best restaurants, refining my skills and earning a degree in culinary arts. Over the past 20 years, I have owned and operated three different restaurants, each adding to my understanding and love for the industry.
